This page explains how to delete your data from IELTS Prep (package id com.ieltsprep), published by Zentryx, as required by the Google Play data-deletion policy.

1. Account model

An IELTS Prep account is optional — you can use the app as a guest with no account. If you did create one (email and password), you can permanently delete it and everything linked to it directly inside the app; you do not need to email us. Study data you created as a guest lives only on your device and is removed by resetting or uninstalling the app.

2. How to delete your data

You can remove your data yourself at any time, without contacting us:

  1. Open IELTS Prep and make sure you are signed in.
  2. Go to Profile → Delete account, then confirm on the deletion screen.
  3. The app calls our secure delete-account service, which permanently erases your account and all data linked to it from our backend. This is immediate and cannot be undone.
  4. To also remove data stored locally on your device (study progress, drafts, vocabulary, and any voice recordings), reset from the app’s settings or uninstall the app. On Android you can additionally clear it via Settings → Apps → IELTS Prep → Storage → Clear storage.

3. What is removed & what is kept

Deleting your account immediately and permanently removes your sign-in credentials, profile (email, name, study preferences, streak), entitlement / Pro status, and AI-usage history from our database — your rows are cascade-deleted and cannot be recovered. Limited billing records may be retained where required for tax, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes, and the underlying purchase is always held by Google Play or Apple under their own policies. After deletion your subscription is no longer linked to an account, so manage or cancel the subscription itself in Google Play or the App Store. AI submission text is never stored, so there is nothing to delete there.
