QaidaKids — Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how QaidaKids (the "App", package id com.zentryx.qaidakids), developed and published by Zentryx ("we", "us", "our"), handles your information on Android and iOS. It applies only to QaidaKids; our other products and website are covered by the Zentryx general Privacy Policy.

1. Summary
QaidaKids is designed for children and built to collect nothing. It works completely offline, shows no ads, contains no analytics or third-party SDKs, and makes no network requests at all. A child’s profile (a first name and an emoji avatar) and their learning progress are stored only on your device and are deleted when you remove the profile or uninstall the app.
2. Information the App handles
- Child profile & progress (on-device only): Up to four child profiles, each a first name or nickname and an emoji avatar you choose, plus learning progress — stars, completed lessons, stickers, streaks, and the time-spent figures shown in the parent dashboard. All stored only on the device; never transmitted.
2.1 What we do not collect
- No data of any kind is collected, transmitted, or shared — the app makes no network requests.
- No ads, ad SDKs, or advertising identifiers.
- No analytics, crash-reporting, or tracking SDKs.
- No microphone, camera, location, contacts, or storage access.
- No account, email, phone number, or sign-in.
- No in-app purchases, social features, or external links reachable by a child.
3. Permissions the App requests — and why
QaidaKids requests only the permissions needed for the features you use. You can revoke any permission at any time in your device settings; the related feature simply stops working.
- None — The released app requests no Android permissions at all. Letter audio is bundled inside the app and plays on-device — there is no internet, microphone, or storage access.

The App embeds no third-party SDKs that collect data.
5. Where your data is stored
Profiles, progress, and time-spent logs are stored locally on your device (MMKV). There is no cloud component and no Zentryx server.
6. Data retention & deletion
Open the parent dashboard (behind the parental gate), select a child, and tap delete to erase that child’s profile, progress, and time-spent history immediately. Uninstalling the app removes all data. Nothing is stored off the device.

Children’s privacy & Google Play Families
QaidaKids is a child-directed app built to comply with the Google Play Families policy, the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), and the GDPR rules for children. It does this in the simplest possible way: it collects no personal information at all and never connects to the internet.
There are no ads, no third-party SDKs, no analytics, and no in-app purchases. A parental gate — a simple multiplication question young children cannot easily solve — protects the settings and parent dashboard. The only information stored is the first name / emoji and learning progress you set up for your child, kept on your device and deletable at any time.
7. Security
We follow privacy-by-design principles: data minimisation, on-device processing wherever possible, encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) for any network feature, and regular dependency patching. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but the most effective safeguard in QaidaKids is structural — we simply do not collect what we do not need.
8. Children's privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data through the App, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the App evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
